Euronergy Czech Wins Best Innovation Award at SEF2024 and Hosts Successful Technology Training

Following its success at this year’s Smart Energy Forum, where Euronergy Czech was awarded the prestigious Best Innovation in Photovoltaics accolade, the manufacturer of lightweight photovoltaic panels has garnered significant market attention. In response to growing customer interest, the company hosted a technology training session at its headquarters in the Kaiserstein Palace in Prague.

The Euronergy Czech technology training attracted over 30 representatives from installation companies based in the Czech Republic and abroad. The training program covered an overview of current photovoltaic subsidies, the introduction of new installation methods for flexible photovoltaic panels, and practical demonstrations. Additionally, fire safety issues for rooftops with photovoltaic systems were discussed, along with specific solutions to address these challenges.

The discussions among participants were highly productive, yielding new insights for both sides. The training raised awareness of the potential uses of lightweight modules in the Czech market and significantly boosted installers’ confidence in their potential.

High Efficiency and Low Weight

This year, Euronergy introduced new products in the photovoltaic panel sector. Their innovations impressed experts at the leading Intersolar exhibition in Munich as well as at the Smart Energy Forum in Prague.

The U-IBC 2.0 panel series from Euronergy is notable not only for its high flexibility and low weight but also for its exceptional efficiency. These panels use a proprietary IBC (Interdigitated Back Contact) cell technology that innovatively applies PEC (Planar Electrical Connection) technology and IEC (Insulating Encapsulation Composite) material.

By replacing traditional ribbon-based connection methods with conductive adhesives to bond cells to conductive films, Euronergy’s panels achieve conversion efficiencies of up to 25.50%, without a front-side grid.

Thanks to the new encapsulation technology, stress on the panels is reduced, significantly lowering the risk of microcracks during manufacturing, transportation, or installation. Euronergy’s latest panels also exhibit low performance degradation over time.
